Fit and Flare Dress

June 22, 2015

I’m excited to be showing you a fit and flare dress I received from Shabby Apple. This isn’t a shilouette I regularly wear, but I have found it to be really flattering. It shows off your waist well. This is my first time working with Shabby Apple, and I am impressed with the quality of the dress. It fits true to size.

I wore this look to church yesterday. I almost always snap blog pictures on the way to church because it gives me a fun excuse to dress up. Bonus? I usually just rewear said outfit to work on Monday. Please tell me I am not the only one? Please? After church we went to visit my parents on their farm for Father’s Day. I might be a little biased, but my parents are two of the greatest people ever. We genuinely enjoy our time with them. The older I get, the more I realize what a privilege and rarity it is to have such a great family unit. I don’t take it for granted. My dad has had a dirt bike for years. Somehow we ended up getting it out and yours truly ended up on it. Lord help me. Let’s just be glad I didn’t break a bone and call it a day. It was so much fun seeing my dad and Russ have fun riding and enjoying themselves.

Back to the dress. I paired it with my favorite sandals, my fringe bag, and my newest Ditto sunglasses through their Endless Eyewear Program. How fun is this retro round pair? I feel so Mary Kate and Ashley. Remember, you can get your first month free (use this link) in their monthly sunglasses subscription service which gives you access to any designer pair you want at any time with as many swaps as you want for only $19/month.Shabby Apple dress, fringe bag, Row sunglasses, handchainShabby Apple dress, fringe bag, Dion sandals, Row sunglassesShabby Apple dress, Row sunglasses, fringe bag Shabby Apple dress, fringe bag, Row sunglasses, dion sandals Shabby Apple dress, fringe bag, Row sunglasses

That is a lovely dress – is that a subtle polka dot print? It’s very nice! 🙂

Glad you had a lovely Sunday. I agree that family is a wonderful blessing to have – we are so lucky to live near both my parents and hubby’s parents, so we can spend a lot of time with family.

Not a silhouette you’d wear often? I think it’s time to change that; you look amazing!

And no, you aren’t the only one! I re-wear clothes I wear to church to work, too. The only awkward part of it all is that my Pastor is my boss, too, hahaha!

Gorgeous look, Amy Ann! I love this dress on you. It’s perfect for your silhouette! And omg, that bag! I’m completely in love with that fringe bag! The cream color makes it so chic and the fringe gives it that boho touch.
