I am so excited to be partnering with Woodland Hills Mall again! As I mentioned in my last post, I grew up shopping there. It continues to be a shopping destination for me in Tulsa even now. It is a Simon mall, so even if you are not in Tulsa, there are other similar locations around the US. I know many of us have transitioned to online shopping. When it comes to holiday shopping, there is something to be said for taking an afternoon and shopping local. With so many stores under one roof, you can get so much of your shopping done all at once. Russ is notorious for being picky about his clothing. Thankfully, I know he loves pretty much anything J.Crew, so it was my first stop when I needed something for him. I walked away with a really nice cashmere sweater. It’s a great, classic gift for the hard to buy for man in your life.
Next up was Ivy Jean. I have been loving Gymboree lately! I’ve found so many cute clothes for her there, and they almost always have a sale going on. I found an adorable sweater dress, vest, and the cutest Christmas PJ set.Β I wanted to get a cute family photo and found a great pink skirt and leopard shirt also in J.Crew for me.
Deck the Halls
If you are looking for Christmas decor or gifts for family and friends, be sure to stop in Amber Marie & Co. It’s a locally owned boutique inside Woodland Hills that will make you feel like you walked out of the mall and into a craft market. The cutest Christmas things! I got aΒ greatΒ dish towel set for $12.99 that will make a perfect gift for teachers or friends.
Family and Friends
If you are looking for gifts for family and friends, consider Bath and Body Works or Sephora. Both have great gift sets for the holidays sure to please that picky teenager. I also remember being that age and just wanting a gift card to my favorite clothing store which you can also pick up at any of the retailers or the mall office.
Black Friday Shopping
Woodland Hills will have special Black Friday hours, so you can get all your shopping done while the sales are good! If you can believe it, the mall will be open from 5:00 pm – 1:00 am on Thanksgiving and 6:00 am – 9:00 pm on Black Friday. On Friday the 23rd (Black Friday), they will also have a special DJ and photo booth for guests. A fun shopping experience for all!
