We talk about jeans here all the time. I LOVE jeans. They are one of my weaknesses. I always think I need a new pair. 🙂 And with all the different kinds of jeans trending, it is hard not to want to try them all! Lately I have been loving the wider leg jean silhouette. Today I wanted to share ideas on how to wear wide leg jeans. When you find the right pair they can be super flattering and fun to style!
My Favorite Wide Leg Jeans
I’ve tried quite a few wide leg jeans in my quest for the right pair. I’ve landed on the Levi’s Ribcage wide leg jean which is the wide leg version of my favorite straight leg jean which I just share here. I am wearing my true size in the 34 inch inseam. One of the reasons I like these so much is that they are available in 3 different inseam options. No matter the jeans you end up with, I think what makes the most difference is finding a pair that is fitted at the waist and hips. It keeps the whole look from feeling too frumpy. You also want enough length you can wear both heels and flats.
How to Wear Wide Leg Jeans
Dressy Casual
One of my most common looks is a dressy sort of casual, i.e. a sweater and jeans. I love easy outfits like this, and wide leg jeans are perfect for it! Try a more cropped or normal length sweater you can do a little front tuck on. Easy and so cute! A sneaker or UGG style boot is perfect for this look.
Date Night
Go from casual to date night by adding your favorite dressy blouse like this amazing gold one and a fun heel! Easy and so chic! The wide leg jean is a really fun twist on the more traditional skinny or slim jean.
Super Casual
Go ultra casual with a simple long sleeve t-shirt. Layer a cropped puffer vest for a fun vibe. This is my second season wearing this one, and I love it!
Wear to Work
Last but not least in my list of how to wear wide leg jeans is a polished work vibe. They are perfect to wear with your favorite boot and blazer! My only top here would be to keep your under layer fitted so your overall look stays polished.

I can’t be the only one who has looked at the logo for your site, the clothes hanger and A and thought of abortion. Back in the days before Roe women often used clothes hangers to self-abort. Indeed, the clothes hanger is a symbol for the Pro-Choice movement. I’m sure this isn’t intentional, I’m jut old enough to remember the dangerous times before Roe.
