How to Style the Old Navy Active Dress

April 24, 2023

I’m super excited about today’s post!! I just got a new active dress that is really great. I want to share with you how to style the Old Navy active dress because I think it can become one of your most favorite summer pieces! Here’s why I like it so much. It has a built in bra with lined cups and built in shorts. It has wide comfy straps, and it is long enough though it does come in a tall length. Let’s get to styling! You can also see the video version of this on my reel.

How to Style the Old Navy Active Dress

1. Alone for actual sports

I got an XS in this coral/pink version of the dress, and it is the perfect fit. I wore it with my sneakers to actually play tennis, and it was perfect!

2. Athleisure

I wasn’t sure what size to order, so I grabbed the blue in the small. It’s a little bigger. You can wear a cute shoe and a belt bag (Amazon look for less) and you have a great athleisure look for the summer and a hot activity. This years version of my Teva lookalikes are here.

3. Jean Jacket

I love the look of a jean jacket and sneakers for a casual yet cute on the go outfit. I would wear this with my girls, running errands, as a summer travel outfit, and more.

4. Athletic Jacket

I paired my lululemon lookalike Amazon define jacket (more on this post) with my Old Navy active dress for a casual active look. I would wear this to tennis when the day was cooler but I know I would warm up as soon as I started moving.

5. Button Up Tied Over

When considering how to style the Old Navy active dress or any active dress, it is fun to get creative! Another way I have worn it is with my favorite Amazon white button up tied over it or worn long and loose over it. It’s just another fun way to layer.

6. Graphic Tee

Last but not least, I love knotting a graphic tee over my dress! This is a fun way to totally change up the look. Let me know if you try any of these looks! My tee is new and already sold out. I am hoping for a restock!
