If you are itching to start wearing your spring dresses now, here is the outfit formula I suggest:
Dress + Tights + Boots + Outer Layer
Simply add tights under with boots and your favorite outer layer. Think cardigan, sweater blazer, blazer, or moto jacket. You can see a few other iterations of this with midi dresses in my recent Walmart try on too.
Early Spring Outfit Formula for Short Dresses
When those spring temperatures start to hit, but it’s still cool in the morning and no one has broken out their sandals just yet, here’s what I recommend:
Dress + Booties + Outer Layer
I always love the idea of short boots with a dress. Simply add your favorite and an easy layer for a perfect spring look! I went with taupe here and a jean jacket, but I could have picked black and my same cardigan from above. It’s easy to mix and match and make different outfits.

This is the easiest season yet because all you really need is the dress! Here’s what I recommend:
Dress + Sneakers or Sandals
Keep it easy and pair the dress with your favorite sneakers or sandals. For casual occasions go for sneakers. Wearing it for something dressier? Pick sandals! What I love about this dress is that it can work for mom mode or a baby shower, church, etc.
