You first saw this adorable floral mini skirt in my recent LOFT try on. It’s such a fun, versatile piece I had to devote a full post to it with 5 ways to style a short floral skirt. I love that this piece can easily go from dressy to casual, swimsuit coverup to date night. Hooray for a multifunctional wardrobe item!
1. Mom Mode
I LOVE when my precious girl (or girls) jump in photos with me. Besides it making photos more fun, it is such a great way to document their life and growth. Ivy Jean is the absolute best. She’s so fun to be around, incredibly kind, and seriously the most thoughtful child ever. When I forget to pray for people, she remembers. If there is a way to think of someone, she does.
This skirt is so cute and easy to pair with basically any t-shirt, graphic tee, or tank top you have for a casual day with your kiddos. I an planning to buy some shorter bike shorts to wear under things like this all summer as I love wearing skirts and dresses.
2. Country Concert
I think adding my white cowboy boots (see full post about how to wear them here) and a chambray top would be the cutest outfit for anything western! You could also just do a dressier blouse/sweater/bodysuit like I did her for more of a date night vibe.
3. Date Night of GNO
Dress your skirt up with heels and a fun top like my pink one from Avara (use code AMYANN15 for a discount). I love how easy but perfect this is for a night out.
Brunch or Church
Swap your heels for sandals and pick a blouse that works for brunch or church. I love this look and plan to wear it soon! Use code LTD2206 for a discount on my sandals. They are amazing quality!!
Swimsuit Coverup
Okay how perfect is this skirt for a swimsuit coverup?! Pack it in your suitcase for dinner one night and then as a coverup for the rest of the trip. Save space and look cute. Win!! Which way is your favorite of the 5 ways to style a short floral skirt?

I think the chambray top might be my favorite outfit! They always seem to win me over, hehe.
What a cute skirt! I love it paired with the striped tank and those adorable checkered sneakers! And how sweet is Ivy Jean! She looks just like her beautiful momma!
