Hello and happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. If you’ve been following along on Instagram then you know Russ and I took the girls on a family trip to Vail these past few days over Ivy Jean’s fall break at school. It was a bit of a spur of the moment thing, but I am so glad we did it. Traveling with kids isn’t always easy, but it is so much fun creating memories together! None of us had ever been to Vail, and it is SO beautiful!!! It was amazing to see the aspens this time of year. They are truly breathtaking.
I won’t lie, when we booked the trip I expected beautiful fall weather. Boy was I wrong! It was downright cold!!! It snowed the majority of the time we were there with highs in the 40s. Brrrr! I did get to wear this gorgeous coral ruffle sweater I first shared in my Walmart try on last week. We learned we were visiting during what is a bit of the off season between summer activities and true winter ski season, so some things were closed. We had a lot of fun just exploring the city though!

I shared this on my post last week, but this sweater is true to size and so flattering! I love the ruffle detail. My jeans and boots are also from Walmart and crazy good deals. I am super picky about my denim and these are a new favorite. I cannot believe how great they are for the price! Everything is true to size.
