I am loving this light weight short sleeve plaid shirt for an easy fall transition outfit idea! You can wear it now with jeans and mules or boots and later with any layer of your choosing! Plaid is a great fabric for fall, but when we think of plaid we often picture heavy weight flannel type fabrics which is why I was so happy when I found this top!

I wanted to show this look several ways. I did size down to an XS in the plaid top, and I would recommend doing that as it is a little oversized. It is longer in the back with a fun slit detail, and I love the cuff sleeves. You can do a font tuck. leave it out, or tuck it al the way into your jeans/pants. I tried it with my looser, straight leg jeans though I do like it better with my skinny jeans to balance out the looser shape of the top. I cannot wait to pair it with a camel color cardigan this fall! These are the same boots I shared during the Nordstrom sale. I love them!!
