How To Style the J.Crew Sweater Blazer

I have loved my J.Crew sweater blazer! It is such a classic piece to add your wardrobe. I first shared it on the blog here styled with a graphic tee and black jeans. I recently wore it a bit differently and wanted to highlight how easily it is to rewear and mix up. Today I thought I would shares some ideas about how to style the J.Crew sweater blazer. This time I mixed it up with a dressier cami and more relaxed jeans. The options are endless!

What I Like About The J.Crew Sweater Blazer

I think the reason this item is so popular is the twist on a classic blazer. It is a blazer made of a sweater material so it feels less “stiff” and business like than a traditional blazer. You don’t feel restricted on office or dressier settings when wearing it, but it also feels like it works for those too which makes it the ultimate closet chameleon. Though my two examples are more casual with jeans since that is my life, you can easily wear this piece to work or dressed up to church, etc. I will say, I don’t find the material to be the softest ever.

Sizing Details

I would say this item runs true to size. I bought the XS and almost wish I had bought the small. I sometimes wear an XS and sometimes a small, so I picked the smaller size. I think I would prefer to err on the side of larger than smaller on an item like this. It does come in several colors (black, grey, etc.). I love this tan and this is makes it super versatile.
