I LOVE joggers. I have been wearing mine a lot lately during the pandemic while at home. What I love most about them is that at home they make me feel put together and then easily transition to getting out of the house in a cool athleisure look. They are totally appropriate for school pickup, coffee runs, errands, and more. Today I thought I would round up some easy tips on how to style joggers casually.
How to Pick the Right Joggers + Style Tips
There are so many joggers out there these days: printed, solid, marled knit, sweatpant material, jersey, tie waist, no tie, and more! How do you know which is right for you? Honestly it is a matter of personal preference! I prefer the sweatpant or jersey because I find they hold their shape better than the super stretchy marled knit fabric. I love having a print and a solid option to mix things up.
I also like the tie waist to tuck things in and have a waist, but I do have one pair without the tie. I like the pair without the tie (pictured below with my puffer vest) to wear with items I don’t want to tuck in. There is no right or wrong!
- DO tuck your top in or wear a cropped shirt with a tie wait jogger. Leaving your shirt out over the tie will create an unflattering bunch of fabric right over your belly area where you do not want it.
Go for the Matching Set
When considering how to style joggers casually, going for the matching set is an easy option! A lot of joggers come with the matching top, so this is simple to do and always cute! Top with a Sweatshirt
Topping your joggers with a sweatshirt is always a easy and fun combo! Graphic sweatshirts are really trending right now, so you can consider one of these as a way to add interest to your look. Accessorizing with a headband or a beanie is always a fun touch like I have done here.

I love just how you styled ll your joggers! They look so stylish and I love the thinner leg on the joggers well. I bought 3 pairs f Lou and Grey and a cropped sweatshirt that hits at the waistline so there is nothing over the tie. Love the star ones!
