I’m back with another Instagram recap to share a few iPhone snaps here that have made it to Instagram but not full blog posts. I love sharing these with you because they are often photos that depict more of our real life than just my outfit photo snaps. First up is this fun leopard legging and mama sweatshirt combo. These leopard leggings are by Peixoto that I found on Shopbop. They are a new brand to me, but I really love them. You can shop all their leggings here. I paired them with my Veja sneakers which I have really been loving! You last saw them with my leggings in this post. I got a pair with a pink and burgundy accent, and I love the colors.
My Postpartum Journey
When I shared this post on Instagram here, I shared some really honest thoughts about my postpartum journey. I had worn this same sweatshirt when I was newly pregnant, so I shared a swipe over of that photo and this one. I won’t copy all the same text from my post, but it has been tough getting back to my old self and learning self-love in the process.
Family Pumpkin Patch Trip
I grew up going to this very same pumpkin patch, and it is so much fun now getting to take my girls. This was Ivy Jean’s fourth year to go! I love seeing the photos each year and watching her grow up. It was so fun to add our sweet Jane this year.
HalloZOOween
Next up on my Instagram recap is this fun family photo from HalloZOOween. Our Zoo hosts a really fun Halloween event with games, candy stops, and more. We went for the first time last year, and they made adjustments this year to make it COVID safe like more weeks, limited admission each time, masks required, etc. My parents joined us, and the six of us had a really good time. Our sweet Ivy Jean was Mary Poppins!
I have been really grateful to be able to find a few outside activities like the pumpkin patch and HalowZOOween to be able to do safely because otherwise we literally are not leaving the house. Thankfully our church is meeting outside, so we are getting to do that. Otherwise things have looked really different for us this year. I’m so ready for things to go back to normal!
