If you are looking for an easy fall transition outfit idea, I have you covered with this fun look! All you need is a cute dress you can wear with your favorite pair of booties. Adding boots over flats or sandals instantly feels more fall. My exact dress is a $28 Amazon prime find. The cut of it is super flattering, and I want to buy the black floral version too! I mentioned when I shared this dress recently that it would be great with booties for fall too. Any dress you have that has sleeves and hits above the knees is a great candidate to pair with boots for a fall transition look.
White Ankle Booties
I am in LOVE with these white ankle booties. I won’t lie, when the trend popped up last season, I was a little hesitant. However, as I saw people wear and style them I began to realize how versatile and fun they are. You can wear them in early fall since they are light colored and long into spring as well as all fall and winter. Unfortunately my exact bootie is part of the Nordstrom sale and sold out in my color. They do come in a couple others though. However, you can shop more white booties here. I am also linking more above!

First off, you are looking incredible after just having a baby, girl! I love this dress, the color, pattern and overall fit is so cute and versatile. I love how you’ve styled it with the white booties. I’ve yet to add a pair of white booties to my collection out of fear of scuffing them. I must walk a little off because this tends to happen often with my shoes 🙁 Let me tell you, I’m a little frustrated with items not being restocked that are apart of the sale. I’ve had my eyes on these pair of boots since it first started and they’ve sold out and haven’t been restocked since. Fingers crossed they will before the sale ends, though I might just even buy them at full price; I love them that much. Anyway, thanks for sharing this look, it’s so cute!
