My mom, sister, and best friend threw me the most amazing baby shower this past weekend. I cannot begin to tell you how special it was! Russ and Ivy Jean came as we wanted her to feel included and part of it all. We were surrounded with family and close friends. Don’t worry, we all wore our masks and kept it small! It was different than I ever thought but it didn’t stop the feeling of celebration over this special life. Russ and I have been saying all week how grateful we are for all the love shown to us.
Vender Thank You
I wanted to say a special thank you to Welltown Brewing who let us use their space. They have a gorgeous upstairs area and patio available for rent. Because of this it makes a dreamy reception, shower, reunion, etc. space. If you are in the Tulsa area and looking for an event venue, be sure to check them out.
Wonderfully Homemade also gifted us the most gorgeous bunny cake to match our theme! I am blown away by their generosity and the amazing flavor of the cake. Coming from the picky girl who went on SIX cake tastings for her wedding, this will go down as the best cake I’ve ever had. Definitely who I would recommend in the Tulsa area for speciality cakes.
The vegan cupcakes and cookies from Antoinette’s and the amazing sugar cookies from OK Cookie Momster. The gorgeous balloon garland is from Turaloo who also helped with our baby announcement!
Dress Details
I LOVED this gorgeous non-maternity dress by WAYF (shop all dresses here). It was so perfect for the shower. It’s smocked on the top making it super bump friendly. I am wearing a small, and it fit perfectly. Up close it has a really pretty swiss dot detail along with the cutest ruffle. I highly recommend it! They are a long time favorite line of mine that offers high quality dresses right at $100 or just over.
Special Details
My mom has a really special bunny collection which includes pewter bunny plates and small bunny statues. She was kind enough to bring it all to decorate. She also had the neatest idea for a guest book and favors, homemade soap wrapped in a thank you. Each guest signed a wooden block that we got to take home. Baby girl will have them to play with and remember all the special people in her life. As a result, the whole shower was just really personal and special.
