Happy almost 4th of July everyone! Anyone been following long enough to remember my obsession with soft overalls from last summer? I had several pairs, and they were literally my summer uniform (seen here and here)! Fast forward to this summer, and I am still just as in love with this pair of camo soft overalls. Also named shortalls, these are seriously the softest material and oh so comfy! I figured I would round up some ideas on how to wear shortalls.
Camo Soft Overall Details
In my non-pregnant state, I wore a small. These run true to size. The material is a super soft cotton. They are by Z Supply which is a long time favorite brand of mine. Most recently, I wore one of their dresses on this post. You’ve you can shop on their site or via Shopbop.
How to Wear Shortalls
Below I am including two pictures from how I styled these last summer. When it comes to printed soft overalls, I think it’s easiest to pick a solid color t-shirt to wear underneath. Whatever color is in the print is an easy choice! I paired my blue and whited striped pair with a white shirt, my leopard pair with a black tank, and my camo pair with black. This helps the print and the sortalls be the focus. Then you can accessorize with a fun hair trend like my bow or a hat.
How to Wear Denim Short Overalls
I actually shared a post about how to style overalls (both long and short) here if you want more ideas! I LOVE my long overalls too. When it comes to the traditional denim overall, I love to pick a printed shirt like a stripe to put underneath. Of course a solid always works here too! It can also be fun to wear a flutter sleeve top underneath to add a bit of a girlier factor.

Camo can be surprisingly versatile, especially with a simple tank, clean sneakers, or a soft denim jacket for cooler evenings. I had a pair years ago that became my default for farmers markets, road trips, and those busy summer days when you want comfort without overthinking it. Sometimes the best clothes are the ones that let you move through real life easily and still feel stylish. I remember looking up a modlily phone number once while shopping, and it had me thinking how fun it is to refresh your wardrobe.
