I LOVE a good poncho as seen in my post about four ways to style the neutral one below! Whether it is open front/cape style or full body, they are so cozy and perfect for winter! Over the years of blogging, I have styled multiple ponchos multiple ways. Today I am sharing some tips on how to wear a poncho.
How to Wear a Poncho with Leggings
Pairing a poncho with leggings is probably my favorite way to style a poncho. They are by nature a little oversized and pair easily with a slim bottom. It’s a casual and easy way to wear them with boots or sneakers as your shoe. Shop the main one featured below (a new outfit on the blog) here. Styling a Poncho with Jeans
You can always wear your poncho with jeans too! I have worn the above ones with not only leggings but jeans too. Open ponchos, like my neutral one below, are the perfect pairing for any t-shirt and jeans. whether you pair them with OTK boots, ankle booties, or even sneakers, everything is cute! In the last picture below I did my black and white flannel, black jeans, and my taupe poncho. You don’t have to stick to a white t-shirt, get creative!

Pair a Poncho Over a Dress
Lastly, I love the option of adding a cute poncho over any dress. They are a fun outer layer for winter. A great alternative to a cardigan or jacket. I personally love adding an OTK or tall boot with a dress and poncho.
