Happy Friday everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! We spent the holiday in Alabama with Russ’s family, and it was such a special time. This is really the first Christmas Ivy Jean understands what is going on, and we soaked up our time with her. Today I am sharing an edgy and fun all black outfit. I thought I’d share a few tips on how to wear all black.
How to Wear All Black
I am LOVING this fun lighting bolt sweater. I paired it with my raw hem black jeans, black boots, and black hat. Together this made for a really fun all black outfit. Here’s some tips on what made it work.
- Break up the all black with something! In this outfit it is my lightening bolt. It could be a leopard scarf (like below), a lace up detail on your top (see below), a belt, or an outer layer that is a different color.
- Add some texture! Whether from the sweater, faux leather (as below), or something else, mixing textures visually differentiates the look.
- Consider a different color shoe like my brown boots or pink velvet sneakers.
