I have a fun new outfit for you today, and since it’s the perfect look for a casual thanksgiving with the family I thought why not round up some great Thanksgiving outfit ideas! Question for you: is your family the dressy or casual type? Mine is definitely the casual type which I prefer though I am including both options for you below. I mean, if I am going to be stuffing my face and typically traveling, I’d like to do it with stretchy clothing preparing for Black Friday shopping. 😉 Are you all big Black Friday Sale shoppers? I always love getting a few gifts for the Christmas season, but I do it from my living room.
Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas
Cozy Cardigan and Stretchy Jeans
My Abercombie jeans have been on MAJOR repeat lately. I love the stretch favor they have without stretching out making them so comfy! Pair them with a fall colored cardigan an scarf if you want to hide any food babies and you are good to go. Just me… okay. 😉 I like my Thanksgiving outfits to be forgiving. A Roomy Poncho with Jeans or Leggings
Roomy ponchos are where it’s at!! I love this wrap style neutral one which I paired with jeans. However, it wold be just as good with a longer top and leggings. Speaking of leggings, I LOVE the second poncho pictured with my favorite Spanx leather leggings. That look in my opinion is the ideal Thanksgiving outfit.
Sweater Dress
A sweater dress and boots is a perfect look for Thanksgiving as well. Both of these shown are belted, but for Thanksgiving I would for sure lose the belt. You don’t want to restrict, ha!
Roomy Swing Style Dress
A roomy swing style dress is also ideal for a dressier Thanksgiving outfit since it’s automatically dressy AND comfy for eating.
Your Favorite Sweater and Jeans
An easy and cute fall outfit combination is always your favorite sweater and jeans! You can mix it up and try a colored corduroy pair and a sweater for an even more quintessential fall look.

Everything looks beautiful Amy! I love the chunky rust cardigan with the jeans ! I typically like to wear dresses for Thanksgiving as I am the most comfy in dresses. I love the first flowy dress and the leopard sweater dress is calling my name, love how you styled it! Those darker flared jeans look great tooo with your long legs! I just bought a pair of thriffted Jbrand Lovestory ad want to wear those soon! Great ideas.
