The Best Bralette + How to Wear a Bralette

September 13, 2019

I’ve loved seeing other bloggers wear and share cute bralettes over the past couple years. They are such a nice option when you have a shirt that is a little low, has a back that feels too revealing, or you just want to add some extra interest. I recently found the best bralette, and I have been wearing it like crazy! Today I wanted to share more about it plus some tips on how to wear a bralette.

The Best Bralette

Here’s the rub: I could not find one I liked!! Every one I tried on was uncomfortable, unsupportive, and a funny shape under my clothes. That’s when I stumbled on the best bralette from Aerie! This isn’t sponsored by any means. I just had to share with you all! Here’s why I like it:

  • Comes in multiple sizes including (XS – XXL including D and DD options)
  • Has a regular bra back closure
  • Available in multiple colors
  • Lined cup
  • Can be worn regularly or as a racerback

How to Wear a Bralette

I have actually shared this bralette with you once on the blog already with another post coming soon. Combined the three looks actually show three different styling options, so I thought I would talk a little about how to wear a bralette.

1. Layer Your Bralette Under a V-Neck Top

Layering a bralette under a v-neck top like this Z Supply thermal can really be an outfit maker. This thermal is a pretty basic piece on it’s own. Honestly a thermal and jeans is a casual and cute outfit, so I really liked the addition of the black bralette to add something special to it without any extra work or fuss. My jeans are a favorite Levi’s pair

2. Let Your Bralette Peek out from Your Tank Top

If you are wearing a tank top or cami alone or layered under a sweater, adding a bralette under it can be such a fun way to add some texture and interest to your outfit. Additionally, if the cami is a little low and you want some extra coverage, this is such a great option! I am pretty modest and have really liked the added coverage.

3. Wear Your Slouchy Top off the Shoulder and Show Your Bralette

This full look will be coming to the blog next week, but I love the option of wearing a top on or off the shoulder. What I don’t love? Strapless bras! Enter the bralette. Wear your top off the shoulder and show your pretty bralette. This is the perfect travel outfit, errand running look, or athleisure outfit.

I didn’t care for bralettes for a while for the same reasons! I have one I like now, but I’d love to branch out! I need to try this one you have! It sounds fantastic!

Such a great idea to layer it under your clothes! Love the idea of letting a part of the lace be visible! Xx
