I am excited to be sharing a fun post today about a space near me, Chapman Green Arts. Located near the heart of downtown, Chapman Green Arts seeks to bring a variety of art focused events to everyone free of charge.
Free Family Friendly Events
Every Tuesday they offer Games on the Green for kids and families which is a perfect way to get outside during your lunch break. These usually include corn hole, croquet, and more! They have additional fun events every month like movie nights and pop-up festivals. You can check their website for the most up to date event schedule. I will also include the September upcoming events below. More events will continue to be added all season, so be sure to stay up to date through chapmangreenarts.com.

- Saturday, Sept. 7 – Wreck It Ralph, activity at about 8 p.m., movie at dark
- Tuesday, Sept. 10 – Games on the Green, 11 am – 1 pm
- Friday, Sept. 13 – YaDee Arts International, 7 to 10 p.m.
- Tuesday, Sept. 17 – Games on the Green, 11 am – 1 pm
- Wednesday, Sept. 18 – 918 Comedy Night, 6 to 11 p.m.
- Friday, Sept. 20 – Parks and Rec mini marathon
- Saturday, Sept. 21 – En Plein Air painting class, 5 to 7 p.m.
- Tuesday, Sept. 24 – Games on the Green, 11 am – 1 pm

Chapman Green Arts sounds like such a fun spot for families to relax and enjoy quality time together.
