I love this gorgeous white eyelet top! I’ve worn it out to dinner with my little fam and also to church. I mentioned this on my Instagram story, but I just don’t need the dressier clothes that I once did while I was still working. Recently I have been trying to be more aware of this while I purchase clothing. I am fortunate to be gifted items because of the blog, and I will always have a penchant for dresses. Fear not, they won’t go away! The primary times I get to wear a dressier outfit now are weekend dinners and church, and even then I am often more dressed up than I need to be!
That being said, I really do wear everything I post on here. I’m always glad when a blog event like my Kendra Scott Mommy & Me event comes, a girls night out, or a date night come along and I get to get dressed up! I’m kind of rambling now, but I have cleaned out some of my dressier work pieces and bought a few more t-shirts.
Outfit Details
Back to this top… I really love it! However, I would suggest sizing up. I got my normal, and it is pretty tight. It does not come with a cami underneath, so you will need your own. The back has a zipper closure. You can see my jeans peeking through which is another reason to support my theory about why you should stop buying low rise jeans! Sorry, in case you missed Wednesday’s post, I feel pretty strongly about that one. The rise on these helps give me a long leg line.
I am also wearing my fake hair braid again here. I seriously love it! It is the dark brown color which really looks too dark for my hair in the photos and real life honestly but somehow when you put it on matches perfectly. I also love these $13 earrings for a pop of color.
