A Charming Offer with James Avery

April 24, 2019

If you have been reading for a while, then you probably remember my previous posts with James Avery. If you grew up in the Oklahoma or Texas areas, you are familiar with this family owned jewelry store specializing in finely crafted silver and gold pieces. One of my favorite parts about blogging is getting to connect with brands I have a real history with, and James Avery is definitely one of them.

It’s more than a store, it’s your story. That couldn’t be more true for me! I have pieces ranging from grade school all the way until now marking special occasions in my life. A child hood charm bracelet, my first cross necklace for confirmation, Russ’s wedding ring, and more.

A Charming Offer with James Avery

Now through June 4th, James Avery is offering a FREE charm necklace or bracelet with your purchase of two charms. With all the charms they have to offer, you can truly tell your story in jewelry. Shop them all here. They make the perfect graduation gift or Mother’s Day gift both of which are fast approaching.

I selected a moon and heart charm to say without words “I love you to the moon and back.” I hope one day to pass them on to Ivy Jean. You can see in my previous post, I also have an engraved pendant with her initials and a birthstone charm with her birthstone. I almost layered her birthstone with this necklace as if to say, “Ivy Jean, I love YOU to the moon and back” but in the photos it make the other charms a bit hard to see. In real life, I think I will do that.

Outfit Details

I love this outfit so much! I found these fun Madewell shorts during the Shopbop sale. The paper bag waist, tie, and fun multi-colored stripes are all just so good. Not to mention, they are not super short which is a major win!! I would say maybe size down in these. I got my usual and maybe I should have gotten smaller. Then again, I don’t like a tight short. I guess use your judgement on how you like your shorts to fit.

I also recently found this cute top at Abercrombie. If you told me in middle school I would shop there as an adult, I think I would have fainted. However, this top is under $50 and really cute. It comes in several colors. The back is accordion style stretchy. This style button front is really trending for spring right now. It is pretty fitted. I sometimes wear an XS and defintiely needed a small in this. If you don’t like fitted, size up. It’s perfect for anything high waisted.
