Little Blue Wrap Dress

March 27, 2019

We just got back from a wonderful week away at the beach with my whole family. If you are subscribed for my newsletter, you got some details about this already. I’d love for you to sign up here. I just send it once a week on Saturdays and try to share some more personal tidbits. Promise not to spam you. πŸ™‚ I also shared some photos on Instagram last week one of which was this little blue wrap dress. How cute is it?!

I saw it and fell in love with the color and ruffle detailing. I packed it for our beach trip and sadly it was a little too cold while we were there (highs in the low 60s) to really wear it. We just took photos so I could show you all, and I plan to wear it as soon as I have the chance. It’s a steal ay $88 if you are in the market for an adorable spring/summer dress. It doesn’t have a hook an eye, something that I always want in a wrap style, but otherwise is great quality! I also LOVE these shoes! They are my most recent purchase with my monthly Shopbop credit, and I’m hooked. I had a couple questions about them. As with most platforms, the sole isn’t super bendable, but they are comfy because they are flat.

Isn’t this photo spot so cute?! Russ grew up in Alabama, and my family moved there when I was in 6th grade. We met in high school and are high school sweethearts. He’s been stuck with me for a while. Grin. Pretty much everyone drives to the Gulf Shores area on the Alabama coat for a beach trip about once a year. His family still loves in Alabama, and we usually meet them at the beach once a year. This was the first time we have gone with my family in a long time. We usually rent a house just outside of Gulf Shores in the cutest neighborhood with all the candy colored houses. There are pinks, mints, blues, yellows, and more. So fun!

What a great vacation spot! Sorry to hear it wasn’t really beach weather yet!
The dress is adorable, and of course it’s super easy to add your own hook eye, I do it on my wrap style pieces all the time.
