When I bought these overalls for myself, I knew I could not resist buying a pair for Ivy Jean too. In general, I am not really a mom who tries to regularly put us in outfits that match, but the idea of matching in overalls was just too much fun to pass up. I also recently got these really fun pink Vans from Madewell as a gift for hosting the event with them here recently. When I brought them home, Ivy Jean was pretty thrilled we both had pink tennis shoes. She is super into shoes… We are in trouble.
Needless to say, we had to match in our shoes AND overalls. 🙂 I told her she had overalls coming in the mail which she says like “mamail” and we watched for them everyday. It was pretty stinking adorable. Then, they day we wore them she kept saying “Mommy overalls, Ivy overalls. Mommy pink shoes, Ivy pink shoes.” All in all, a pretty fun experience. You might just see most posts like this after.
Notes on Fit
Thumbs up for overalls!! In terms of fit, I really love these. I am wearing the regular though they do come in a tall. I liked the more cropped look. It’s hard to find a good, skinny pair of overalls that look modern, and these fit the bill. I am excited to wear them all spring and into summer with a tank top or off the shoulder top. Ivy Jean’s pair are really soft which makes them comfortable for her to wear. I always want her to be comfy as she plays, and jeans aren’t always comfy.
