I’ve had a black puffer vest for some time now. Recently I bought a fuzzy one on Amazon for that $23 I shared on this post and this one. Then, through my partnership with Talbots, I got this adorable puffer vest (currently 40% off!!). The faux fur collar is removable which I really like. I have really been loving layering with a vest! If I am being honest, I think Old Navy has some awesome vests for the price though they are a little puffier than this one. They come in multiple colors too.
3 Reasons to Layer with a Vest
- Vests add such a fun element to an outfit. Instead of just wearing a flannel (not that there is anything wrong with that), adding a vest adds a fun dimension and instant polish.
- Because they don’t have sleeves, they are easier to wear under a coat than a full jacket. It’s extra warmth. In the dead of winter, it is nice to have the extra layer outside under a coat.
- You aren’t so hot inside that you are uncomfortable. My office is always cold anyway, but sometimes I feel silly wearing a jacket inside.
