Fall Transition Outfit

You might be like me and struggling a bit to figure out what to wear lately. I no longer feel like wearing my summer dresses, but the weather isn’t cool enough for true fall pieces. Despite being ready for sweaters, boots, and scarves, the weather has something else to say. I cannot practically go outside in those items without looking a fool though don’t think I haven’t considered it. I have been reaching for my favorite denim, cute short sleeve tops, and peep toe booties as a way to make me feel fallish without being too hot.Β A lotΒ of my time is spent indoors, so I actually wear jeans/pants a lot even in the summer (my office is freezing!). This is an easy fall transition outfit with pieces you probably already own.

Outfit Details

I love black denim! It’s one of my favorite washes and also one of the things that makes me feel most like fall. I broke this pairΒ (I’m wearing a tall inseam) out and wore it with an old favorite chambray shirt. I think most of us have a chambray shirt in our closets. Black jeans and a chambray top is my favorite way to wear double denim.Β Another option is black jeans, a white tee, and a jean jacket. These peep toe booties are one of my most worn things. They are super flattering on your leg line! I also love them for transitional seasons. And this is my favorite Gucci dupe belt again. πŸ™‚ I’ll link several great chambray shirt options below.
