Fall Transition Look – Dark Florals

One of the biggest trends for fall 2018 is prints! Whether animal print in the form of leopard (even in different colors), zebra, or dots like dalmatian, plaid, or floral, you can pretty much guarantee you will see bold prints this season. I have always been a floral print lover, so it is easy for me to jump on the bandwagon with this particular part of the trend. In fact, dark florals have always been part of my wardrobe. I have several midi dresses that are perfect for fall with their moody floral tones, so when WAYF sent me this blouse from my selection, I was thrilled! It’s a lightweight fabric in a gorgeous print with a peplum fit. What’s not to love? The lightweight fabric makes it the ideal fall transition look. You can style it now as I have with jeans and heeled sandals or later in the season with heeled boots and a leather jacket for a little edge. Yes!

Fall 2018 Trends

So what are some of the other fall trends you may be seeing? All things 80s inspired! The bold prints are part of this as the 80s are synonymous with bold. One of the other items I got from WAYF in this same shipment has shoulder pads, and I am totally digging it! Thankfully they are not the huge ones you think of with the 80s but rather a subtle definition I really like. You’ll also see the return of ruching. Ruching can be really flattering when done right, so it’s easy to embrace in modern ways.
