Happy Monday, friends! Hope you all had a great weekend! After a long week last week of the stomach bug and a couple sleepless nights with Ivy cutting molars, we had a great weekend. If you followed along on Instagram stories, I helped host a baby shower for one of my best friends. It was so much fun! Yesterday was also my birthday, so Russ, Ivy Jean, and I had a family date night on Saturday night. After church on Sunday I got to see my family. You cannot ask for more than that!
I wore this adorable striped peplum top to dinner with my college BFF who was in town for the shower. I just snagged it when I got a birthday coupon from Madewell. Yes! It was so windy when we took these photos it almost doesn’t do the top justice. It is so cute!! I am wearing my normal size. I saw a review that said it ran tight in the bust area. I can see what they mean. It is okay for me, but it you are more gifted in that area, you might size up. It also comes in a dark floral print. I think it would be super cute for work with cropped pants.
I am also wearing these fun tassel $12.99 Sugarfix earrings. They look just like the much pricier BaubleBar ones for a fraction of the price and come in a ton of colors. I highly recommend them! I loved the mint for spring. My hair kind of hides them in the photos, but hopefully you saw how cute they are on my stories. I also just got these booties for spring, and I love them! They are a comfy heel height and the color is really flattering with your skin.
