Unexpected Color and Texture Combinations

I love experimenting with my clothing in ways that don’t feel too extreme. A great way to do this is through unexpected color and texture combinations. Today I am partnering with Banana Republic to share this gorgeous velvet blazer and beautiful tie sleeve sheer blouse. I picked these two pieces with the intent of pairing them together. If you follow me on Instagram, you might notice my feed has been pretty full of various shades of blush, red, and burgundy/wine. I’m loving it lately! I’m especially loving pairing wine with pinks and blues.

This luxe velvet blazer works so well with the more delicate, sheer dotted blouse with the tie neck. It’s only $88 (was on sale when I was writing this so check!) and comes in white and navy too. The great thing about both of these pieces is that they work well together, will be great alone, are easily paired with jeans, and can be dressed up. Talk about versatility.
