Happy Monday everyone! I am back from fashion week and officially trying to get back in my normal schedule! I had a greatย time, and I cannot wait to tell you all about it. I shared a little more personal take on one of my recent Instagrams if you want to see. I got to shoot a couple looks while there with the amazing Angie Garcia that I am excited to share with you soon (the IG is also a post of one of my looks). In each post I’ll include details about the day. In the meantime, today’s post is all about a modern way to style a blazer.
If you’re like me, sometimes blazers seem very formal. They are however, always classic and actually super flattering! When Banana Republic sent me this grey windowpane blazer, I immediately envisioned it as a post-work, transitional look. You could easily wear this cami and blazer to work with a pencil skirt or slacks and then swap it out for the coated skinnies I am wearing. Can we just pause for a moment and talk about coated skinnies?! I bought these several seasons ago and I still consider them one of my favorite pieces. They are so flattering. The slight sheen just does something for your legs. Here’s a super similar pair. Take my advice and order ASAP. Pair with a leg lengthening heel for even more umph.

I love to wear a blazer every now and then. I love them dressed up or casual. My husband just got a sports jacket in this same windowpane pattern and color! Love how you’ve styled this, such a clean cut and sharp outfit!
