The Dress of the Season – It’s Love!

It’s official, this is the dress of the season. I’m in love with this gorgeous floral midi dress! You all know my love for anything midi length. I’ve professed it many times. It’s versatile and flattering. Need I say more?! The v-neck and muted colors of this ruffled number definitely make it stand out. After seeing all the fall 2017 trends, I think it checks all boxes. Thinking ahead, I can also see this being a great Thanksgiving dinner outfit idea too. Just saying.

I think it will be fun to wear layered with a vest and my over the knee boots as the weather cools off too. For now, I’ve just styled it with my favorite ankle booties. It looks just as great with heels though for a dressier look.

Hope you all are having a great week! I am getting back in my regular routine of things which I actually love. Anyone else love a good routine?! I missed Ivy Jean and Russ a ton while I was gone. Ivy started crawling last week and then pulling up on things this week. I’m over here like, “What’s next?! Are you going to start walking next week?!” She is almost 10 months old, and I cannot even believe it. Russ and I were just saying it is almost hard to remember a time before her. It seems like she’s been part of our family forever, the perfect fit.

This weekend we have no plans, hooray! It’s the one weekend sandwiched in five that we won’t be traveling somewhere. It’s all such fun things (the beach, fashion week, a family trip with my college BFFs, and my niece’s birthday), so you won’t hear a single complaint here. However, I do love a good weekend at home.
