Plaid Peplum Top for Spring

I just love plaid. It usually seems like more of a fall/winter fabric, but the lighter colors make this plaid peplum top perfect for spring. I just love the flowy easy fit. Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I have two very best friends from college. One lives in Tulsa with me, and the other lives a couple hours away. We get together two or three times a year, and it is always very special. In the meantime, our constant group text keeps us going. You know those types of friends? So thankful for them. Amy, the one who doesn’t live here, came to visit this weekend with her husband and little boy. She hadn’t met Ivy Jean yet, so it was an especially poignant weekend as they have walked through infertility with me so closely.

Can you believe I don’t have much plaid in my closet!! But I love the yin/yang of this blouse. The plaid always seems so masculine to me, but this blouse has that peplum that is more feminine!!
And aren’t friends the icing on the cake?
