Print Mixing

January 11, 2017

Print mixing always makes for a fun outfit in my opinion. I selected this skirt and top planning on wearing them together. On a whim, I added my leopard coat. I loved how the outfit turned out. This embroidered floral striped oxford top is such a cool piece and will be fun to style with denim too. My leopard coat is probably my oldest item of clothing. I’ve had it like 8 years. No joke. I found several similar ones I am linking below. I’m convinced everyone needs a leopard coat!

Print mixing is always a great way to really liven things up, and you can’t go wrong with such a classic coat. Leopard print is my favorite neutral.

I absolutely love mixing prints! The leopard is so good with floral print (but it goes well with anything really)

I would NEVER think to mix a floral and leopard print together…I’m horrible at mixing prints. Love what you did here!

Red and leopard is one of my favorite combinations. And throw in the embroidered top, it’s the perfect pattern mixing! I totally agree that everyone needs a leopard coat!

I love how you added the leopard print coat to your outfit! I definitely wouldn’t have thought to put this outfit together but I love how it turned out. I really need to take more fashion risks in the future!

I love this, Amy! I have several leopard coats, all at least 3 years old. They never seem to go out of style, so I don’t plan on getting rid of them. Your boots are the perfect finishing touch for this, too. Legs for days!! πŸ™‚

Fabulous way to mix prints Amy!!
I know my mom still thinks it’s weird, but the advantage of using your coat, is you could close it up, and no one knows there is a print underneath! Thanks for this idea!
