One of the biggest trends for fall is unique jackets. This could be a denim jacket with quirky patches, an embellished leather jacket, or a bomber jacket. Besides adding some spice to any outfit, these pieces are great for layering and transitioning between seasons. You can see how I styled my embellished leather jacket last week here. Today I am trying out the bomber jacket trend.
Olive is also a big color for fall and very versatile, so I picked an olive green bomber jacket. It’s another great find from Zaful. Paired with the perfect flowy maxi, my jacket balances everything out. I won’t lie, at only $30 for the jacket and $19 for the maxi, I think you need both pieces! They will get a lot of use in my wardrobe this fall. I personally love having a dress I can change the shoes and layers on to create a whole different look.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! We are headed to see Jason Isbell in concert tomorrow, and I’m excited! I didn’t get a chance to mention it, but last weekend Russ and I traveled to Alabama to see his family. My family moved from Oklahoma to Alabama when I was in grade school, and it is where I graduated high school and met Russ. We dated long distance through college at OU and AL respectively. After graduating, we got married, and Russ moved to Oklahoma. All his family is still in Alabama, so we try to go back a couple times a year for a visit. They were kind enough to throw us our first baby shower which was so much fun and so kind. His mom planned it all, and it was book themed. So cute!! Everyone brought their favorite with a note for our sweet babe. They will be so special to share as the baby grows.
