Today is my third post with A Pea in the Pod (see the first one here and the second here). I’m styling double denim which is a great combo no matter your age or stage in life. I find myself wanting to start my maternity wardrobe with mirror pieces to my favorite non-maternity items. For me this means great jeans, stripes, solid color tops, easy dresses, and chambray. It’s always easy to add non-maternity layers and change things up.
Double denim seemed like a no-brianer when I saw this great chambray top (exact non-maternity) . I actually ordered a medium (regular size is a small) and wish I’d gone with a small. Maternity sizing is all so new to me! It’s a bit big right now, but I imagine as my bump grows I’ll be able to get a lot of wear out of it all season. Paired with this drapey vest and good jeans, this is my fall formula.

The chambray shirt looks lovely and will accommodate your bump easily as it grows 🙂 I really like the vest you’re layering with too – I saw a very similar piece in store here at the start of autumn but I waited for it to go on sale and it sold out 🙁 I’d probably be too short for it anyway!
