Today I am sharing my second post with Isabella Oliver (see the first one here). They have the best pieces to keep you stylish during your pregnancy. Last week I shared their off the shoulder top, and today it is this cut out shoulder top. As a fashion lover, it’s important to me to retain my sense of style during pregnancy, which isn’t always easy. Sold at Pea in the Pod or online, Isabella Oliver carries great quality items. My black top is so fun on its own but will also be a great piece to layer as it cools down.
I styled my top with the cutest kick flare maternity denim thanks to A Pea in the Pod. I was really missing my kick flares/culottes and longing for a maternity option to wear all fall, so these are perfect! Loving the denim options around this season. You can snag the exact pair in a non-maternity option in black, regular, and light wash (on sale too!). I’ll be doing a couple posts with Pea in the Pod this week too, so stay tuned! Overall, I am getting more comfortable dressing my growing baby bump and loving the comfort of pieces like these.
I hope you all had a great weekend! Russ and I worked on the nursery some more, and it just makes my heart so happy. It’s a room that sat empty for a long time. Evidence of an unmet longing with each passing. We spent a lot of time in there praying and pleading for this baby and learning who God was in the meantime. You may remember, I lined one wall with notes and verses of support from loved ones. I recently got them all back out and was overwhelmed with gratitude over the walk we have taken with the Lord, each other, friends and family, and now this sweet babe. It was a good reminder to have joy even during the difficulties of pregnancy.

I love this! I’m not a huge fan of the bare shoulder tops, but THIS! I think it’s a great version that I would do pregnant or not. Thanks for sharing 🙂
I LOVE your story of the prayer notes on the wall. What a testament to God’s faithfulness. I know He doesn’t always give us what we ask for, and that doesn’t make Him any less faithful, but what an incredible blessing when He does. And you look AMAZING, by the way. That top is the CUTEST.
Thank you! You are so right, He doesn’t have to answer the prayer to be faithful. That was one of the biggest things I learned in our two years of infertility. He is faithful period. My whole live is evidence of that. He cannot be faithful in one area and not in another. I’m grateful for the journey. Have a wonderful weekend!
You too!! xo
It’s been a while since I’ve stopped by–congrats on your pregnancy status! You are looking as stylish and beautiful as ever! –Ginger

Amy, you look so wonderful and I love the way you’ve styled your denim in both this post and in Kick Flares. I also don’t know your baby story but my heart went out to you and your husband as I read your words regarding how you felt in the nursery. May your baby arrive healthy and happy.
That top looks amazing on you. I love your kick flares and booties too. I’m so happy to read about your happiness in welcoming this little one into the world.
