Why You Should Try the Bandana Trend

July 27, 2016

Let’s get to business. I have to tell you why you should try the bandana trend. I held out for a while thinking I couldn’t pull this trend off. In summer, I tend to accidentally drift toward brighter looks and away from my neutral favorites. Somehow brights end up feeling less edgy. I loved this striped off the shoulder dressΒ (under $20!!) when I got it in the mail. I mean, so fun right?! I knew I didn’t want to add girly accessories though. Pairing my dress with a bandana added instant edge for under $5! I actually bought this in Wal-Mart for $2. They are available so many places and in all different colors. You can pair them with tees, tanks, button-up shirts – whatever! Round sunnies and other black accessories round out the look.

Love how you added the bandana–it looks great! Gotta love a good Walmart find! I inherited bandanas from my mom in literally every color of the rainbow because she used to wear them at the gym and had one for every outfit, haha.

This dress is so cute! I’ve never worn a bandana before in an outfit (I think the last time I wore one was at a farm field trip in the 4th grade… a long while ago!) but I love that they are getting their moment in the fashion spotlight! They are so inexpensive and you styled it perfectly so that it looks like a fancy scarf!

Such a fun brightly colored dress! Also definitely a fan of the bandana/scarf trend, I think it’s one step up from the choker trend and love how chic a tied scarf looks!

I’m a big fan of the bandana/silk scarf trend- plus its so much lighter than big statement necklaces. I love the look of this dress on you – totally works with your frame!

I’ve been skeptical of the bandana trend, too – but now I’m definitely considering trying it! You look so cute and I’m obsessed with that gorgeous dress! Such a fun print for summer with that amazing cross body!

I totally love this look Amy, I think the bandana works best on tall people with long necks! I tried that and didn’t look the same πŸ™ But you are one stylish momma to be! Would love for you to stop by my Wednesday Inspo linkup and share this stylish look.

I love wearing bandanas, although I tend to wear them around my head when I’m having a bad hair day. I’ll definitely have to try them out this way!
