This lace up floral maxi feels so very me. Sorry for yet another white/floral dress… I cannot seem to stop! I hope you are not bored. Embroidery is a big trend right now (I’ll be discussing it on Friday’s post, so be sure to come back then!). I loved how the colors of this floral paired with my pink bag (last seen here) and my pink shoes (last seen in our pregnancy announcement, grin). I actually added a white cami and wore this to work one day. Thank goodness they are okay with me pushing the limits of business casual.

Also, I ordered this adorable dress planning on wearing it as a coverup at the beach. I looked at the measurements (something I always do when ordering online), and knew it would be too short on me as a normal dress. I thought it would make the perfect coverup though. And it would have had I gotten to go to the beach…

I love the maxi dress (congratulations by the way for your baby news!!)!! I always like these flowy kind of dresses, they remind me a lot of the late 60’s/early 70’s style. I’ve always wanted to buy one for myself, but I’m not sure if it fits my personal style. Of course, I haven’t tried it so I can’t knock it just yet! The dress/beach cover is also really beautiful. I always have to look at the measurements while buying online too. You never know how different a piece can look on the model!!
