I’ve driven an SUV since I turned 16, and Russ has a truck. Being behind the wheel of a car was a new experience for me. Russ and I spent Saturday afternoon checking out a new brewpub in downtown Tulsa before running some errands and snapping pics. I’m terrible at parallel parking. As in, I just avoid it and park farther away if necessary. It was nice to have a smaller car with a backup camera. The Jetta also has Apple CarPlay which was really cool. I just plugged in my phone and had access to my apps and Siri. The best part was the ability to use Google Maps. I won’t lie, it was sure fun to have that new car smell for a couple days! Oh, and get 40 miles/gallon on the highway.
