Test Driving a Jetta

May 11, 2016

I’m excited to be sharing something a little different today. I’ve spent the last couple of days test driving a Jetta thanks to Don Thornton Volkswagen here in Tulsa, and I’ll be teaming up with them in the future too to share some of their other options. If you’re in the Tulsa area, you can get a $25 Visa gift card just for coming by for a test drive! All you have to do is sign up here.

I’ve driven an SUV since I turned 16, and Russ has a truck. Being behind the wheel of a car was a new experience for me. Russ and I spent Saturday afternoon checking out a new brewpub in downtown Tulsa before running some errands and snapping pics. I’m terrible at parallel parking. As in, I just avoid it and park farther away if necessary. It was nice to have a smaller car with a backup camera. The Jetta also has Apple CarPlay which was really cool. I just plugged in my phone and had access to my apps and Siri. The best part was the ability to use Google Maps. I won’t lie, it was sure fun to have that new car smell for a couple days! Oh, and get 40 miles/gallon on the highway.

My outfit details are below. I’m loving this blush top with my grey jeans and heels. My sunglasses and bag are both new and both amazing dupes. These sunnies are $50 compared to the real $400 Celine pair, and my bag is a $27 Chloe dupe.

Thanks to Don Thornton VW for sponsoring this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Borrowing with a less-than-perfect credit file doesn’t mean you’re stuck without options. Hire Purchase agreements let you spread the full cost of a car across manageable monthly payments. Most lenders ask for a minimum income of £1,000 per month and vehicles usually need to be under 14 years old by the end of the term. A representative deal shows £10,000 borrowed over 60 months at 19.9% APR costs £255 monthly with £15,329 repaid in total. Carboom.co.uk because the car acts as security, approval odds improve even with past credit issues. Just remember you won’t own it until the final fee clears.

Taking a Jetta out for a test drive was an eye-opening experience. The handling felt precise, the interior surprisingly comfortable, and the technology features really intuitive. I was impressed by how smooth the ride was, even over uneven roads, and the fuel efficiency exceeded my expectations. What I found really useful was realizing how easy it is to find similar models at a great price. I love the color combo in your outfit…such soft muted colors pair so nicely together. The pink, gray, and taupe is very pleasant! And I love the contrast of the super soft and feminine blouse with the sassiness of the heels and the edginess of the distressed jeans. Absolutely gorgeous!

How cool you test-drove a Jetta Volkswagen. The car looks great. I love your new blouse from Wayf and yet another gorgeous saddle cross-body. I might have to buy this one.
