Mondays are so much more fun for me when we are doing the Blogger Nation series! We are back at it this week (see week one, two, and three) with DSTLD. Today I am featuring an all black outfit with DSTLD jeans and tee. In general, black jeans are my go-to. They just make me feel cool, and when I want to look casual without sacrificing style, I reach for them. I was pumped about trying a high waisted skinny pair that comes in either a 28, 30, or 32 inseam. The good news is they come in a variety of regular denim washes and a distressed version too. I paired my jeans with their black v-neck tee which is such a great basic piece (also available in white and scoop neck).
I was so excited to break out my peep toed ankle boots! They are the perfect transition piece, and I highly recommend them for spring. I’m linking some great options below. I wore this look to brunch with friends on our way back from a wedding a couple weekends ago. I love wearing a hat on the weekends, and brunch feels like the perfect excuse. Is there anything bad about brunch?? My faux suede jacket (last seen here) was the perfect light layer for the warm weather we had.
Also, if you follow me on Snapchat (straightastyle), you already know Friday was kind of a long day for us. We thought temporarily that our IVF cycle, which is supposed to start on Wednesday, might be on hold. Everything worked out okay, but it was stressful. This whole experience has been a continual exercise in trust for me. Over and over again, I have to remember that God is in control and He is good. Anyway, I just mention it because I sort of took the weekend off from blogging. If I didn’t comment back like usual, I’m sorry. I spent some time with friends and relaxing.

Wishing you all the best Amy, I know I’ve said this before but sometimes feeling relaxed and less stressed (like going away for a mini get away and unplug) is actually better for your body to accept the various hormone changes going on during IVF. You still look absolutely amazing as always!!
