I’ve always been fascinated by street style fashion while simultaneously finding it difficult to put my finger on what exactly it is that gives an outfit that elusive street style feel. I often think it’s unexpected pieces paired together: dressy pumps and distressed denim, a fancy bag with an everyday look, sneakers where heels might make more sense. Oh, and the street. That’s a given. Whatever the combination, the outcome is always modern and fresh. Today I attempted a street style look with neutrals, cool flatform sneakers, and a fancy bag. I always thought street style was simply stylish people walking around in the public eye… the type of style where you stop them and inquire about something they are wearing or share a compliment about their entire outfit.
