Sweater Dress and OTK Boots

November 9, 2015

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. Russ and I took it easy for the most part. We did some home shopping and went to one of my BFF’s kid’s party. I also did a little online Christmas shopping. I cannot believe it’s already that time! Slow down fall…

When this sweater dress arrived from SheIn (under $20!!), I was pleased to find out it really was more dress length than tunic (especially on anyone shorter than me). I added a white blouse underneath and topped it with some of my favorite accessories. This silver conch belt (similar) was my grandmother’s, so it is really special to wear it. A sweater dress and OTK boots is one of my favorite combinations for fall, so it was fun to break out my OTK boots from last year for the first time this season.

Love how you layered the look with the shirt and belt. Definitely added a little something to a sweater dress that can sometimes be shapeless

Amy, I may have to emulate this! I have an olive sweater dress and OTK boots. LOve this look on you, a great color and the fringe is fun too!

Ugh, I have yet to find over the knee boots that work on me. I love how they look on everyone else, but these short legs definitely need the right pair–which may or may not be nonexistent at this point. Ha! I love how you’ve paired a special piece of your grandmothers into this look and it fit perfectly. I have a bracelet that I love to style that was my grandmothers and I always feel like the outfit is so much more special because of it. 🙂

That belt is truly stunning and it the perfect one for the dress as it really sets it off with the boots and the fringe bag. Perfect for Autumn.

That sweater dress is great and I love your grandma’s belt. She has awesome taste. With the OTK boots, all the suede, fringe and the fedora hat you have made this such a great 70s inspired look. Love it!
