Pastels Not Just for Spring + Giveaway

October 7, 2015

I feel like I have so many exciting things to share today! First up, the outfit. Light pink is such a big color for fall. I recently got this blush pink pleated midi skirt which I first shared here. It’s been on major rotation for me. You can see another way I wore it on Instagram. Today marks wear three (that I’ve shown you), so I would say it’s definitely worth the $20. The moral of the story is that pastels are not just for spring. Today I paired my skirt with a blush pink top to achieve a monochrome look. I love this top! It’s faux leather which definitely lends itself to fall and winter. I added these amazing grey booties (also available in navy, eggplant, and olive), and I love the overall vibe. I cannot wait to wear these boots all fall and winter! How great is the tie? I seriously have a bootie obsession bordering on problematic. They are my favorite shoe option because they just go with so much. You can shop all my current favorites below.

Second, did you notice my amazing necklace?! Or see my Instagram? I’m so excited to be teaming up with Victoria, a rep for Chloe + Isabel, again. You can see my first post with her here back in the spring. I really love this line of jewelry. It’s great quality and many of the pieces are convertible, basically you get two pieces in one! Today I’m sharing the Mirabelle statement necklace, Mirabelle earrings, and cocktail ring (10% to the National Breast Cancer Foundation in October). Victoria has been kind enough to offer my readers a giveaway AND 20% off all orders AND free gemstone earrings for new customers! Total score! Enter below to win the Geovista statement necklace and matching earrings. To receive your 20% off, simply email Victoria (vicki0063@gmail.com) with your first and last name, email you will use on the order, and gemstone color preference. She’ll get you all set up! These pieces make great gifts, and it is never too early to start thinking about Christmas. pink leather chicwish top, blush midi skirt, chloe + Isabel jewelry, grey booties, grey bag pink leather chicwish top, blush midi skirt, chloe + Isabel jewelry, grey booties pink leather chicwish top, blush midi skirt, chloe + Isabel ring pink leather chicwish top, blush midi skirt, grey vest and booties, chloe + Isabel jewelry pink leather chicwish top, blush midi skirt, grey vest, chloe + Isabel jewelry sole society grey booties, blush midi skirt

Only yesterday I was debating whether to do a pastels outfit on the blog for something I bought and you’ve clinched it for me! I agree that pastels are not just for Spring. They can look gorgeous in Autumn. And I love how you’ve teemed the outfit with those fabulous grey boots; this is understated but chic.

I’m totally guilty of packing away the pastels when fall hits- and I shouldn’t! This blush color works- and those pleats are perfect!

Pastel pink is one of my favourite colours, and I still wear certain pieces in the fall, too. If you’re warm and throw in booties, or a coat, I definitely say it’s fair game 🙂
