I’ve had a think for black and cognac pairings lately. First it was my black and white top with my cognac sandals, then it was my black dress with the same sandals, and now today it’s this back and white dress with my cognac platforms. Let’s talk about this dress. How great is it? I love this kimono style. It’s sooo comfy, and at $12 you really need to go purchase it now. No peer pressure or anything. I didn’t do the details justice in the photos. It has cute slits at the hem and arms. A cognac tote would have been the icing on the cake, but I’ll keep that on my wish list for now.
You might notice that I finally did something different with my hair. I never experiment because the truth is I have one trick. I’m good at curling it, and I just don’t deviate. I credit Kathryn for making me branch out. Her post on top knots was just too good. I decided that maybe my hair wasn’t too short to try it. I’ve been doing it occasionally on weekends, and it’s really a fun variation. Let me know what you think.
One more thing and then I will shut up. These. Sunglasses. They are my latest swap out from Ditto’s Endless Eyewear Program (Netflix for sunglasses), and I love them. No way I’d ever be able to try these fancy Pradas on my own. Don’t forget you can use the code STRAIGHTASTYLE for your first month free.
