Blogger Nation: LuLu*s + Giveaway

It’s week three of our Blogger Nation series, and we are wrapping it up for the summer with a head-to-toe look from LuLu*s. I love an all-white look, especially for summer. This white two-piece set is so fun. I think both the skirt and top will be great to pair with other things too. That’s the beauty of a set. I’m not going to lie, I told Russ he needed to take me on a date to give this outfit its due. When the fringe heels and clutch came in, I couldn’t wait to wear them, so you’ve already seem them (heels here and clutch here). I just love them both! We went for sushi and drinks on Friday night. I might have been a little overdressed, but hey, that’s my fashion blogger right.

I have to tell you the story about these photos. You’re going to die of mortification on my behalf. As you can tell, this location is very picturesque. It’s a beautiful park in an area of town we are not always near but is a location many photographers frequent. Our date night brought us close, and I took the opportunity to snap photos right before. It was of course “golden hour” – perfect for photo opps. As we were walking to this spot, a couple was close by. I didn’t think too much of it as this often happens, especially in this park. As we stopped, a lady popped out of the bushes and said, “Can you leave? A proposal is about to happen here, and I’m taking photos.” Of course we said yes. Imagine my surprise when I turned around and the couple who had been close was now right behind us and the guy was kneeling down and starting his proposal! I literally walked past him in my haste to get out of the way and heard the beginning of it. I know he was so nervous, but could he not have slow played it just a little and given us a chance to get out of the way?! Russ and I were so mortified that we became part of their intimate moment. We literally didn’t even know what to do with ourselves.
