Date Night Outfit + Thank You

Can we talk about Zara for a moment? It was my favorite store in NYC. I was in three story heaven while there and am now seriously mourning that I don’t have one here in Tulsa. I’ve always been a bit afraid to order online because the times I have, I haven’t had great luck with sizing. While there I bought several things and could have bought so much more. They just have so many good things! I digress…

Here is what I did buy – this amazing gingham halter peplum top and these black cropped pants. When I bought them I jokingly told Russ he was going to have to take me on a date, so I would have an occasion to wear them together. Little did I know that shortly after we got back he would get a promotion at work, giving us a great reason to plan a date night and celebrate. I shared a picture on Instagram and mentioned how proud I was of Russ. I just wanted to take a moment to thank you all. It was so fun to have such a neat response, not only from our friends and family here locally, but also from all my blogging friends. When I started this blogging journey, I never imagined having a community of women who would cheer me on through infertility treatment, work promotions, become travel buddies and resources, and more. So thank you. Thank you for becoming my friends.
