Exciting Blog Changes – Straight A Style

April 8, 2015

I’m so excited to share something I have been thinking about for over a year and finally taking action on. I am going to rename my blog and spruce things up around here a little bit. As you all may know, this blog started out as a personal one and slowly evolved into the fashion blog it is today. Because of this, the URL doesn’t match the name. On top of that, the name has nothing to do with fashion. These things combined cause some behind the scenes coding errors that result in it not indexing well. It’s not good when Google can’t find you! I also want to make some small design improvements. I think this will be a seamless process happening over the next few weeks, but I wanted to make sure and tell you all so you weren’t surprised. Without further ado, the new name will be Straight A Style. It’s so hard to come up with a name. I liked this one as it was for a fashion blog, but it also works well since I am Amy Ann Arnold. I hope you like it and will like the new improvements!

Now on to today’s post. This might be one of my favorite outfits yet. I love this drop waist plaid dress from Choies. It was perfect paired with my OTK boots for dinner last weekend. I am trying to squeeze in a couple last wears of my boots before it gets too hot. Forett was kind enough to send over one of their gorgeous two-toned wallets. I had borrowed Russ’s old money clip and had been using it for months, so to say I was in need of a new wallet was an understatement. I love the navy and black combo of this one.

Dress c/o Choies // OTK Boots: Aldo // Purse: Vintage Coach via Second Hand (exact new) // Watch c/o Daniel Wellington // Bangle c/o Honeybee // Index Ring c/o Purple Peridot (use code realarnold10 for 10% off) // Black Ring: Kendra Scott // Wallet c/o Forett

Congrats on your new blog name. I really like how it takes your initial and makes it fashion related. Very cute. You also carry this dress so wonderfully. With your cool hair, and those boots it looks stunning. XOXO, Elif

I wasn’t a fan of drop-waist dresses but you are rocking it! I may have to try them especially considering that my bump is growing…
