Statement Sleeves for the Office

February 3, 2017

Workwear can be boring. One fun way infuse personality is to wear statement sleeves for the office. When I saw this great top (only $17!), I loved the button back, shoulder detail, and tie cuffs. I could envision it with denim just as easily as I could with a pencil skirt or culottes like I wore it today. Since I haven’t finished my maternity leave yet, I haven’t worn this exact look in real life yet. I plan to wear it as soon as I go back to work though. It’s nice to already have an outfit planned as I am sure mornings will be a little more chaotic now. How do you make work outfits show your personality?

I am also including a reader survey below. It would mean a lot to me if you would take the time to answer the nine short questions to help me better Straight A Style. I want this blog to be a place that inspires and encourages you. I’d love to hear what you think and how I can adjust the content to be more of what you like! For some reason I cannot embed it, so you just need to click the link below to open it in a new window. As a thank you for reading and taking the survey, I will be giving one participant a Kendra Scott cocktail ring and $15 Starbucks gift card. I’ll be closing the survey this weekend. If you want to be entered to win, please respond by Sunday.

Such a great twist having it button up the back! 🙂 It’s great you are still on maternity leave – I thought they were really short in the US? It’s nice you get to spend more time with your beautiful daughter 🙂

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend 🙂
