My heart skipped a beat when I finally found these shorts that are long enough! Can a tall girl and a momma who doesn’t want to show her hiney get an AMEN?! Plus they are CUTE! They also come in a distressed version, and I just might need them too. You can also roll they up if you want. I am honestly not a huge shorts fan. It could be that I usually have trouble finding them or that I just don’t like myself in them that much. I just prefer dresses, but I braved taking these photos to share my find with you all. Oklahoma summers with a toddler basically require owning a pair of shorts. I sized up one from my normal because these are a true denim without stretch.
We are headed to the beach tomorrow with Russ’s family. We are really excited! These shorts are packed along with the swimsuits I found in case you caught my Instagram story saga. Why is it so hard to find a cute, modest one piece suit?! I know it is amplified because I am 5’10” with a long torso, but I swear, every single one has no padding, high cut bottoms, plunging front, or cut outs. Now, please do not get me wrong. I think all of those things are cute (except maybe the no padding because that is just not cute on me). I just cannot envision myself on the beach chasing Ivy Jean in said suits getting sand in places I don’t want it. Laughing just thinking of it. Anyway, I think I found some. Stay tuned.
