Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend! We had a wonderful, full one. Thursday Russ had a work related event that called for getting dressed up. You know I love any excuse to get fancy, and I wore the perfect fall cocktail dress. I love the embroidered floral detail, the sheer paneling, the long sleeves, and the midi length. It can be tricky to find the right type dress for cooler seasons, so I was thrilled to find this beauty. Friday we went to see my sister and her family to celebrate my niece’s birthday. We stayed the night and got to watch soccer games on Saturday which was really fun before making it back to Tulsa in time for a church dinner. Sunday we got a lot done around the house (Russ did some yard work) before I had my monthly girls dinner.
I’m honestly not a person who loves to have things every night of the week, but that is how this month is shaping up. Fall always seems to get busy so quickly. How about you all? Are you the type who likes to be busy or keep things more low key?

Just returned from an almost 3 week vacation and my October is shaping up to be one of my busiest ever. Two birthday celebrations (my husband and daughter), parties, events and a new city apartment to move into. We still have our country place which will be home base but now I have a getaway spot that puts me closer to our former home and most importantly, my daughter. Couldn’t be more excited 🙂
