Wearing a Cardigan as a Top

September 8, 2017

I’m back today with another fall look in partnership with Banana Republic. Today I’m styling this classic button front black cardigan. I decided to do something a little different. Wearing aΒ cardigan as a top instead of a separate layer is a fun way to get even more wear out of a closet staple. Have you ever tried this?

In real life news, I am currently in New York for Fashion Week. Pinch me, please! Yesterday I was supposed to attend a Shopbop open house, but our flight was 3 hours delayed. I was SO sad to miss it. Today I am headed to visit the Amanda Uprichard showroom before heading to meet the rewardStyle team and my amazing rep, Marie. I’m so excited because I have only ever emailed with her, so meeting her face to face will be so much fun! Saturday I will be heading to a Kendra Scott open house, a Rebecca Minkoff after party, and a Banana Republic open house before going to the rewardStyle party. I’ll be sharing snippets on Instagram stories, so be sure to follow along here!

I’m LOVING Banana Republic’s Fall collection. I was just there on the weekend, and they have such a great selection, especially those classic easy pieces everyone should have in their wardrobe. You look super chic here! Hope you have a great start to the Fall season xo

That is a really great idea – I am going to try that when we go away because I bought a great cashmere cardigan! You look lovely. I always know I can get great ideas from your blog for outfits because you and I have similar style.

That is a really smart idea to wear a cardigan as a top! Usually a cardigan is used to highlight another top.

Lovely monochrome outfit! πŸ™‚ I’ve never tried this but that’s because most of my cardigans are long (struggles of being petite, ha!) and few have buttons! πŸ™‚

Hope you are having a great weekend and enjoying fashion week even though you missed something because of your delayed flight, what a shame.
